Montgomery County Police are trying to track down a 29-year-old man accused of murdering his girlfriend last Sunday at his residence.
Juan Emilio Guzmán-Contreras faces first-degree murder charges in the death of his partner, Claudia Areli González, 28, in a home located in the 3800 block of Bel Pre Road.
Minutes before 6 pm on Sunday, uniformed officers responded to the residence after receiving a report of a dead person. There they found González, suffering from a trauma to the upper part of his body.
A coroner declared Gónzalez’s death a homicide. During the investigation, Guzmán-Contreras was identified as the alleged perpetrator of the crime and an arrest warrant was issued against him.
Authorities are asking for the public’s help in locating Guzmán-Conteras. Anyone with information can call the Police at 301-279-8000. Tracks can be left anonymously.
