Just as it was experienced in Qatar and on the Argentine streets, the Argentines in Montevideo also experienced the passage to the Qatar 2022 final with great euphoria.
Gathered at the Kentucky pizzeria in downtown Montevideo, hundreds of Argentines watched the game singing and cheering for the national team. “From local or visitor, we are always encouraging”said one of those present to The Observer.
To the rhythm of La Mosca with the version of “We got excited again” that has already become a classic, the Argentines celebrate and wait for Sunday at 12:00, where they will once again be electrified in front of the screen, watching and seeing if they become champion for the third time.
The Argentines also gathered, after the game, to celebrate on the esplanade of the Municipality of Montevideo.
