1.- Two men are accused of sexually abusing an 8-year-old girl in a bathroom. One of them is Reiniel Díaz, 31, the biological father of the victim.. The other is Eduardo Martínez Díaz, 28, the father’s cousin. According to the mother and maternal grandmother, the girl told them that everything happened while she was bathing with her pet. The minor lives with her mother and visits her father weekly. In 2019, Diaz faced similar charges, but the case was dismissed.

2.- The woman who was seen in a video beating a minor with a belt, at the Bethel Seventh-day Adventist private school, in Florida City. Kady Ann Sewell, 33, was charged with child abuse without great bodily harm and breaking and entering, inside a school safety zone. Bail was set at $6,000 for the woman.

3.- A shooting left a man dead outside a home located at 3500 Northwest 200th Street in Miami Gardens.. A woman at the scene said disconsolately that the man was the father of her baby. Police set up a perimeter and conducted a house-to-house search to find the person responsible. So far, the motive for the crime is unknown.

4.- Police are looking for a woman accused of stealing a collection of watches valued at $200,000.. The alleged victim is a 35-year-old man who met the accused in a bar on April 23 and took her to the luxurious One Paraiso condominium in Mmiami, where she lives. Police believe the man may have been drugged. The woman fled in a white four-door car, possibly a Toyota Camry.

5.- Miami Beach hotel employees protested their low wages and poor working conditions, according to his words. They demanded a minimum wage of $20 an hour and, also, an hour for lunch.
