Today is Tuesday, January 3 and these are the main news of the day:
1.- A radar problem caused delays on flights to and from Florida Monday, leaving hundreds of passengers waiting for hours. It was all due to a problem with the computer in the control center of the Federal Aviation Administration.
2.- Continue the search of the person who opened fire on the I-95 freeway against a woman who was driving a Maserati car in the lanes heading north, at the height of 119th street. Police say that a white car approached the victim’s vehicle and from there someone fired more than 30 shots. The perpetrator fled the scene and the victim was taken to a hospital, where she is recovering.
3.- Telemundo 51 obtained exclusive images of the moment in which Cuban rafters asked for help from passengers on a cruise between Key West and Havana. The numbers continue to rise and there is already talk of a humanitarian crisis, since more than 500 Cuban migrants have arrived in the Florida Keys since Friday.
4.- There is an alarm in Brickell due to a video that shows at least two people parachuting from some of the tallest buildings in the city and flying over the Miami River. Miami police were contacted to see if they had made any arrests, but a spokesperson said they were going to investigate this incident.
5. According to a survey by the Statista company, exercising more and leading a healthier life are the main resolutions for the year 2023 in the United States. In a year marked by inflation, another resolution is to save money, followed by spending more time with family.
