Tom Hanks and his new look
Hanks portrays one of the most significant individuals. The Oscar winner will play the colonel Tom Parker, the man who discovered Elvis in 1955 and who eventually became his only representative. The partnership was beneficial, as it helped lead to the singer’s huge success, although Parker’s tenure was not without controversy. Hanks already looks like Parker for the biopic, which is expected to be released in late 2021.
The revelation took place during an interview on The Graham Norton Show. Hanks said he was in Australia to shoot the next Elvis biopic. And besides, it seems that he immediately regretted mentioning the fact, the famous actor offered to show how he changed his appearance to better fit the role of Elvis’ manager. With considerable reluctance, Hanks takes off his hat to reveal his new haircut.
While the new look, which looks like JK Simmons in his cameo of Spider-Man: Far From Home , may require some tweaking, isn’t the only change Hanks has to make to play Parker. Hanks explained why he doesn’t favor evil roles. Parker could potentially challenge this preference, as he is a considerably complicated figure. He famously lied about his childhood, an area that may be the focus of his own film, and an investigation later found that his management practices were unethical. Parker may not have been a strictly antagonistic individual.
