Two pilots were killed in a military plane crash near Alabama airport.
According to AZERTAC, this was stated by the executive director of the airport Marshall Taggart. He said the plane crashed in a wooded area near Montgomery Regional Airport.
The T-38 trainer was part of the 14th Aviation Flight Training Wing, based at the Columbus Air Force Base, Mississippi. The cause of the accident is not yet known. The crash killed a US Air Force student and instructor pilot. They participated in a routine training mission outside the station. According to the US Air Force, the investigation will be carried out by the flight safety committee.
