2023 began with many surprises in WWE. And the same, continue. On the afternoon of today, January 10, 2023, Stephanie McMahon announced his resignation from WWE as WWE President and Co-CEOwhile announcing his departure from the company.

Vince McMahon was unanimously elected by the entire remainder of the WWE Board of Directors as the new Chairman of the WWE Board of Directors. Which indicates that he is once again the President of WWE and every decision will go through him, although, Supposedly, Hunter would continue to have full control of the company’s creative direction. WWE has confirmed this through a press release that says the following:
