One lucky person who bought a Mega Millions ticket in Tonopah, Arizona became the winner of a $4 million prize after Tuesday’s drawing.
Arizona’s winning ticket matched all five numbers in the draw, but not the Mega Ball, according to John Gilliland, a spokesman for the Arizona Lottery. The prize was 1 million dollars, but with the Megaplier, the prize was increased to 4 million dollars.

How do you play Mega Millions?
Tickets can be purchased at various participating convenience stores, gas stations and supermarkets for $2 each. When purchasing your ticket, you will have the option to choose six numbers or generate them for yourself. Whatever the choice, the first five white numbers will be numbered between one and 70. These numbers cannot be repeated. The sixth number, the golden megaball, will be numbered from one to 25.
To win the jackpot, you will need a ticket that matches all six numbers. The odds of winning the jackpot are 1 in 302.6 million, according to the Mega Millions website.
