Jawa Timur Police’s Cyber Crime Unit Arrests Two in Fake Casting Video Scam
The Cyber Crime Unit of the East Java Regional Police (Polda Jatim) has apprehended two individuals suspected of spreading fake casting videos. The arrests were made without incident at the suspects’ residences in Gresik Regency.
"Both suspects were arrested at their homes in Gresik Regency," confirmed Polda Jatim’s Public Relations Chief, Kombes Dirmanto, on Friday, December 20, 2024.
In this case, five victims have already come forward and reported the incident.
