New manager for Limerick GAA’s Underage Hurling Academy

LIMERICK’S former All-Ireland U21 hurling championship winning manager Pat Donnelly has stepped down as manager of Limerick’s Underage Hurling Academy.
The South Liberties man has given over a decade to helping nurture Limerick’s young talent.
As well as varying academy roles, Donnelly is a former county minor selector and then manager and also a former U21 selector and then manager.
In 2017 he guided Limerick to an All-Ireland U21 title – a team containing Sean Finn, Kyle Hayes, Tom Morrissey, Barry Nash, Cian Lynch, Aaron Gillane and Peter Casey, among others who have progressed to win All-Ireland SHC medals.
