Matt Chapman’s ITV Racing Tips: December 27th
Racing fans, get set for a festive treat as ITV returns to Chepstow and Kempton on Friday, December 27th! Matt Chapman, racing expert and tipster extraordinaire, has scoured the fields and selected his best bets for a day packed with thrilling action.
Don’t miss out on his sizzling tips and insightful analysis – here’s what Matt has to say about each of the races:
13:05 Chepstow – LE MILOS
A tricky handicap chase kicks off the action. Matt believes the experienced **LE MILOS** has the class to bounce back and land this race for trainer Dan Skelton.
13:20 Kempton – WEST BALBOA
This mares’ handicap hurdle over 3m sees Matt taking a punt on **WEST BALBOA**. While the mare hasn’t been at her best this season, Matt feels with Heidi Palin’s 7lb claim, she can add another win to her name.
13:40 Chepstow – NIETZSCHE HAS
Matt’s eyeing the Grade 2 Juvenile Hurdle where he fancies **NIETZSCHE HAS**. This colt took on Grade 1 opposition in France and comes in here with solid form. Don’t let the weight difference worry you, says Matt, this horse is up to the task.
13:55 Kempton – BALLYBURN
This Grade 2 Novices’ Chase is a standout race on the card. Matt believes **BALLYBURN**, despite facing off against a strong field, has the class and experience to secure the win.
14:10 Chepstow – BILL BAXTER (each-way)
Matt fancies **BILL BAXTER** in the handicap hurdle over nearly 3m. While better known as a chaser, Matt thinks his previous hurdle run suggests he can place well here.
14:30 Kempton – MARTATOR
Matt is backing **MARTATOR** in the 2m handicap chase. This horse has been on a winning streak and Matt believes he’s capable of continuing his impressive form.
14:50 Chepstow – IWILLDOIT (each-way)
A daring play for the Welsh Grand National! Matt risks it all on veteran **IWILLDOIT** to defy his age and land the big prize.
15:08 Kempton – FRERO BANBOU
Matt concludes his predictions with **FRERO BANBOU**, who he expects to dominate the 3m handicap chase and continue his winning ways.
