Ancol Expects 90 Tons of Waste on New Year’s Eve

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta – Taman Impian Jaya Ancol estimates that the increase in waste production from New Year’s Eve celebrations will be approximately 250 cubic meters from all of its tourist areas on the shores of Jakarta Bay. On weekdays, Ancol’s waste production is 100 cubic meters, while on weekends it is 150 cubic meters.

“There is a potential for additional waste on New Year’s Eve,” Taman Impian Jaya Ancol Public Relations Manager Ariyadi Eko Nugroho told Tempo on Saturday, December 28, 2024.
