San Miguel Corp. (SMC) on Saturday announced that its infrastructure arm has opened the new Quezon Avenue extension or “Maria Clara” northbound exit at Skyway Stage 3 in Quezon City.
In a statement, SMC said the Maria Clara exit, operational as of 6 a.m. on Saturday, December 28, is expected to ease congestion at the Quezon Avenue northbound exit, a key route for motorists accessing Quezon City.
The conglomerate said the exit’s opening is timed to accommodate the anticipated increase in travel during the long weekend leading up to New Year’s celebrations.
