An Garda Síochána has spent €19.5m on consultancy services in the last six years as part of its response to a report calling for “priority” reform of the force’s operating model.
The figures, released to the Sunday Independent under Freedom of Information (FoI) law, show that Deloitte has been paid €14.767m since 2019 for its work on the new Garda Operating Model, which is meant to reshape how the force is structured.
