Mount Semeru Hiking Route Reopens with Restrictions

The decision to reopen the mountain, which stands at 3,676 meters above sea level (masl), comes following a period of closures due to various factors, including the COVID-19 pandemic and the volcanic eruptions that occurred on December 4, 2021, and December 4, 2022.
