Nicki Minaj Sued for Assault After Alleged Punch in the Face
Nicki Minaj is facing a lawsuit alleging she physically assaulted her day-to-day manager, Brandon Garrett, after a concert in Detroit earlier this year. Garrett claims Minaj slapped him in the face with a closed fist, knocking his hat off and giving him a sore wrist.
The situation escalated when Minaj learned that Garrett had once sent someone else to pick up one of her prescriptions. Garrett claims Minaj flew into a rage, screaming at him about getting his “teeth knocked out” and threatening to ruin his life.
A Flurry of Physical Allegations
Garrett alleges Minaj continued to escalate the situation, yelling at him, telling him his “life was over,” and striking him on the right side of the face with an open hand. He states the blow caused his head to swing backward and his hat flew off. The lawsuit goes on to say that Minaj then struck him with her fist on his wrist, sending documents to the floor.
