Bergvall was lucky to avoid a second yellow card for a late tackle on Kostas Tsimikas moments before he scored his first goal for the club to earn Tottenham and Ange Postecoglou a much-needed win.
It was a decision that left Van Dijk fuming, as he suggested the match officials had made a mistake to allow Bergvall to stay on the field.
