Yogyakarta (ANTARA) – The Ministry of Agriculture has assured the public that beef and buffalo meat supplies will remain adequate throughout Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr, despite the ongoing foot-and-mouth disease (FMD) outbreak affecting several regions.
This assurance was provided by Director General of Livestock and Animal Health Agung Suganda in Yogyakarta on Saturday.
Suganda emphasized that the government has meticulously assessed commodity balances to guarantee sufficient beef availability for the upcoming festivities.
