Penajam Paser Utara, E. Kalima (ANTARA) – The Nusantara Capital Authority (OIKN) is collaborating with the Borneo Orangutan Survival Foundation (BOSF) to develop a protected area in Samboja Lestari in the Nusantara capital city, East Kalimantan.
“The protected area of Nusantara city, part of the seven planning areas, is located in Simpang Samboja, which is currently being developed,” OIKN chief Basuki Hadimuljono said in a statement released on Saturday.
The development of the protected area, according to him, is part of reforestation efforts covering 1,800 hectares of area.
