Expressed emotions among caregivers of individuals with schizophrenia and associated factors: a multihospital-based survey in Southern Thailand | BMC Psychology

After obtaining approval from the ethics committees, from the Faculty of Medicine, Prince of Songkla University (REC 66-549-3-4), Songkhla Hospital (SKH IRB 2024-Edu-J3-1053), Pattani Hospital (PTN-010-2567), and Songkhla Rajanagarindra Psychiatric Hospital (SKPH. IRB. COA 2/2567), this cross-sectional study was conducted using questionnaires at four psychiatric outpatient clinics: Songklanagarind Hospital, an 800-bed university hospital serving as a tertiary center; Songkhla Hospital and Pattani Hospital, both 508-bed general provincial hospitals; and Songkhla Rajanagarindra Psychiatric Hospital, a 200-bed psychiatric hospital; functioning as a referral center in Southern Thailand.
