Three worthy charities have benefited from one Cork company’s decision to swap present-giving for making a charitable donation to charity.
Cork-based business consultancy 3SIXTY has been making a donation on behalf of everyone on its team in lieu of Christmas gifts between colleagues for the last number of years.
The idea, which was first suggested by a team member during the covid-19 pandemic, resonated with everyone on the team and thousands have been raised for worthy charities ever since.
The approach became that an email containing a shortlist of organisations would be sent around to everyone on the team and everyone would be asked to cast their vote for their first choice.
