Visitors spent 299.5 thousand nights at the establishments, which is 15.5 % more than in November 2023.
During the eleven months of last year, 2.5 million non-resident and resident visitors were hosted in Latvian hotels, guest houses and similar accommodations, which is a 10.7 % rise, compared to the same period of 2023. On the other hand, looking at these data compared to 2019, i.e. the time before the Covid-19 pandemic, it can be seen that tourism sector is still recovering gradually – in the 11 months of last year, the number of visitors in accommodation establishments was 5.7 % fewer than in the first eleven months of 2019.
