Former Sony executive Shuhei Yoshida has appeared to apologize for the failure of the PlayStation VR2. Late last week, Yoshida was interviewed on the Kinda Funny Gamescast.
In his first interview since retiring from Sony, the veteran Sony exec discussed the PS VR2, a critically acclaimed virtual reality headset from 2023 that had a sleek design, great capabilities, and no flagship games to hype it up. It was released after Yoshida’s time at Sony, as he led as President until 2019, but he still had some comments about the system.
