Call The Midwife has been pulled from screens in the middle of the current series in a BBC schedule shake-up set to infuriate fans.
The popular drama, set in 1960s Poplar, usually airs on BBC One every Sunday evening, but due to the BAFTAs, the penultimate episode of the series won’t be broadcast for a while.
Instead, the awards show will be aired on Sunday 16 in place of the much-loved Call The Midwife starring Jenny Agutter as Sister Julienne and Judy Parfitt as Sister Monica Joan.
