An Irish man has been arrested in Hungary after the body of a 43-year-old Japanese woman was found in a burned out apartment.
Local media is reporting that counter terrorism forces detained the man, an Irish citizen, on Monday on suspicion of killing the woman who is mother of two children.
According to Hungarian police, the Irish national, who had arrived in Budapest for a visit, had alerted the emergency services following the fire.
