NHL insider Elliotte Friedman has linked the Tampa Bay Lightning to Buffalo Sabres winger Alex Tuch as a potential trade target ahead of the 2025 deadline.
In his latest 32 Thoughts column, Friedman mentioned that Tampa Bay could pursue Tuch if he becomes available, though he noted that “they wouldn’t be the only ones” interested.
The 28-year-old winger has recorded 18 goals and 40 points in 53 games this season after a 22-goal, 59-point campaign last year. With the Lightning in need of a second-line right winger, Tuch would be a strong fit, but Buffalo’s willingness to move him remains uncertain.
