As Fiji embarks on a journey of healing and national unity with the establishment of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission (TRC), Prime Minister Rabuka reaffirmed his government’s commitment to addressing past injustices and fostering a sense of togetherness.

Blue Pacific Vision of Peace

Prime Minister Rabuka also shared his ambitious vision for the Blue Pacific, envisioning it as an “Ocean or Zone of Peace.” This initiative aims to encourage amicable conflict resolution, strengthen regional unity, and promote cooperation among Pacific nations.

This groundbreaking concept, set to be adopted at this year’s Pacific Islands Forum Leaders Meeting in the Solomon Islands, seeks to safeguard the Pacific from external conflicts and foster a collaborative approach to regional challenges, paving the way for a harmonious future for all Pacific nations.
