With recent rumors emerging about what the Buffalo Sabres might do with their second-leading scorer Alex Tuch as the trade deadline approaches, another Eastern Conference team has been mentioned as a good trade fit, in the New Jersey Devils.
The Devils, as we all know, are trying to make an impact addition at forward. They tried, but failed, in an attempt to pry JT Miller from the Vancouver Canucks (who has since landed with the Devils’ heated rival, the NY Rangers). They tried to sign UFA Brandon Saad, but he chose to go to Vegas, and they have also checked in on the Colorado Avalanche’s Casey Mittelstadt.
