Maharashtra police files FIR against Ranveer Allahbadia and Samay Raina over ‘India’s Got Latent’ row | Mumbai News

The Maharashtra cyber police have booked podcaster Ranveer Allahbadia, comedian Samay Raina and other artists for allegedly making obscene content and broadcasting it on Raina’s India’s Got Latent show after it sparked a huge controversy. This is the second FIR against the duo, with the Assam police having registered one on Monday.

A senior officer confirmed the development to The Indian Express, adding that the police have invoked section 67 (transmission of obscene material in electronic form) of the Information Technology Act, among other sections.
