Mangaluru: Singapore’s grand Chingay Parade, known for its multicultural vibrancy, featured a unique South Indian twist this year. Mangalurean resident Sriranjani Sachidananda donned a special costume of idli, vada, masala dosa, chutney, and sambar, as a tribute to South Indian cuisine.
The two-day Chingay Parade was held from Feb 8. Chingay 2025 returned with the theme ‘Joy’, encouraging public to reflect on shared experiences transcending ethnicity, language, and age through food.
