Multiple names gone as TNA Wrestling makes behind-the-scenes changes

It was almost exactly a year ago that TNA Wrestling made the surprising announcement that parent company Anthem Sports & Entertainment had terminated the contract of the promotion’s president, Scott D’Amore.

D’Amore, who went on to re-start Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling, was replaced by Anthony Cicione, who also served as president of Anthem’s Entertainment Group. Now, a report from PWInsider today (Feb. 12) says Cicione himself has “exited that position [TNA president].”
