Indonesia‘s parliament has passed a bill to revise the country’s mining law, allowing priority access to religious groups among others to mining areas.
Religious organizations, through a business unit under their control, and small- to medium-sized businesses, can be granted permits for managing coal and mineral mines, according to the amended Mineral and Coal Mining Law.
