Second man charged in Dublin stabbing investigation

A second man is due in court this morning charged in relation to the investigation into a fatal stabbing in Dublin at the weekend.

The man, who is in his 20s, was arrested on Monday.

Quham Babatunde, 34, was stabbed in the early hours of last Saturday morning.

A second man in his 30s was also attacked and seriously injured. He remains in hospital.

A third person arrested as part of the investigation is in custody in Northern Ireland.

PSNI detectives were yesterday granted an extra 36 hours to question the man who was arrested in Belfast on Monday as he was about to board a ferry to Liverpool.
