Legendary skateboarder Tony Hawk and late rock icon Kurt Cobain share a grandson, Ronin Walker Cobain Hawk, who was born to Frances Bean Cobain and Riley Hawk this past September. In a social media post, Tony said he wished the Nirvana frontman was here to meet and hold the five-month-old baby boy.
Hawk’s post on his Instagram Stories showed a concert ticket from an October 1991 Nirvana show, with the caption, “Went straight from S.U.A.S. [Shut Up and Skate] event at Houston Skatepark to this concert in 1991. It was as transformative as live music can possibly be; we all experienced something rare and powerful that night.
