The daughter of late RTÉ broadcaster Gerry Ryan started singing on stage at the age of eight and was one of three members of girl group Lady Nada when she was a teenager.

The band previously performed on The Late Late Toy Show back in 2006 and were even invited to tour with Westlife by Louis Walsh.

Speaking to her older sister Lottie on her podcast No One Else Will Listen, Bonnie revealed that she secretly flew to London to audition for The X Factor when she was just 19 years old.
