Jays Fall to Phillies, 9-6

Jose Berrios had a pretty good start to his spring. He got two ground outs and a K in the first inning, touching as high as 96 on the radar gun. In the second, Bryson Stott managed a line single, but a pop out, a ground out and a fly out prevented him from scoring. It took Berrios just 22 pitches to work those two innings, so they gave him a third to get his work in. It went less well, as Gabriel Rincones jr. took a sinker that caught the heart of the plate the other way for a solo home run. He bounced back, punching out Oscar Mercado and getting Trea Turner to ground out, before being lifted for Brendon Little, who popped Kyle Schwarber up.
