THE N24 Limerick to Tipperary road is closed this Wednesday morning following a serious traffic collision overnight, Limerick Live has learned.
It is understood that the road traffic incident occurred in the vicinity of the ESB substation in Killonan. It is between the Ballysimon interchange and Beary’s Cross roundabout.
Gardai, Limerick Fire and Rescue Service and paramedics with the National Ambulance Service have all responded to the collision.
Drivers are urged to avoid the area and take alternative routes where possible. Local diversions are in place.
