TEMPO.CO, Jakarta – The Jakarta Provincial Government will build dikes to anticipate the potential of tidal flooding. The construction is planned to start after Eid al-Fitr in 1446 Hijriah or Lebaran 2025.
“Hopefully, it will be a preventive step for tidal floods in several points that always occur,” said Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung after the Plenary Session of the Jakarta Regional People’s Representative Council (DPRD) at the City Hall, Central Jakarta, on Wednesday, March 12, 2025.
