Radical change to controversial new gaelic football rule confirmed after Derry GAA boss accused it of ‘killing the game’

SIX FRC amendments have officially been given the green light.

Following a GAA Central Council meeting, the tweaks to football’s new rules received unanimous delegate backing.

They are to be implemented immediately at inter-county level, starting with this weekend’s National League fixtures.

County boards have been set a deadline of May 1 to apply the changes to club games.
