Long-running magazine Popular Science is the basis for a new FAST streaming channel set to be launched by Toronto-based Underknown. The network will be available on FUBO, Plex, Sling Freestream, Vizio, Local Now and other FAST platforms.
The channel will cover rocket launches live and be a broadcasting hub for the series “This Week in Spaceflight” and “Starbase Update” from NASA Spaceflight. Popular Science will also feature content from YouTube science creators, including Hacksmith, Complexly and creations from Underknown, which is behind web brands including “What If,” “How to Survive,” “Animalogic” and “Aperture.”
