Cooper Kupp is staying in the NFC West.
The longtime Los Angeles Rams wide receiver will sign with the Seattle Seahawks, NFL.com’s Tom Pelissero and others reported on Friday.
The move to Seattle represents a homecoming for Kupp, who’s from Yakima, Wash., and played collegiately at Eastern Washington.
Kupp, 31, was cut by the Rams on Wednesday after the team was unable to find a trade partner.
It marked the end of a successful eight-year run in Los Angeles for the receiver, who was named MVP of Super Bowl 56 as the Rams won the championship.
Kupp also took home Offensive Player of the Year honours in 2021 when he led the league with 145 catches, 1,947 yards and 16 touchdowns.
