The job may not be complete just yet but the Mickey Harte revolution in Offaly hit another major peak with a first competitive victory over neighbours Kildare in 19 years as the Faithful County moved one step closer to Division 2.

Hordes of jubilant Offaly supporters surrounding their county footballers at the final whistle in Glenisk O’Connor Park in Tullamore is a far cry from last summer’s all-time low when limping out of the Tailteann Cup, but this looks like a different team since Harte joined Declan Kelly as joint-manager for the 2025 season.
