Jays Beat Braves 6-2 – Bluebird Banter

Back to the win column today. The Braves didn’t send most of their starters, but it was still a solid effort all around, with the offence not blowing it out but getting on base against a quality pitcher and Jose Berrios having a terrific day.

Jose Berrios got into a jam in the first, with the help of some overly aggressive defence from Vladimir Guerrero jr. The first two batters singled and the third reached on a fielder’s choice when Vlad fielded the ground ball and tried to get the lead runner instead of the easy out. That loaded the bases with none out. He escaped, though, on a pop out and a double play.
