‘I’d have to talk to him’ – RTE star set to clash with 90s music icon over catchphrase ‘confusion’ ahead of Irish gigs

RTE legend Marty Morrissey looks set for a collision course with the lead singer of Wet Wet Wet – over the use of his beloved ‘Marty Party’ catchphrase.

Scottish crooner Marti Pellow is claiming the saying for himself and has even modelled a t-shirt with the inscription ‘NoMartiNoParty’ to promote his shows.
