The fourth season of Ted Lasso is officially in the works, as Apple TV+ recently announced the show’s renewal. When it comes back, however, one character will have a different actor in the role.
Per Deadline, it’s been revealed that Season 4 of Ted Lasso will recast the role of Henry, the son of Jason Sudeikis’ Ted Lasso. After he was a soccer fan in the first three seasons, a 12-year-old Henry will be depicted as a “skilled soccer player himself” in Season 4. In Seasons 1-3, Henry was played by child actor Gus Turner, and he was mostly seen through FaceTime video calls with Ted, though the young boy visited his father on two occasions.
