‘Assassin’s Creed Shadows’ Playercount Numbers Are Rolling In

Well, time to start tracking how Assassin’s Creed Shadows is performing, at least based on the data we have available on the new Ubisoft release. So far, at least, things are looking up.

Ubisoft bragged about Shadows getting 1 million players on launch day, and now this morning, they have said that the game has hit 2 million players across all platforms, which has outperformed Assassin’s Creed Origins and Odyssey. Not Valhalla, albeit that was the record-setter for the series. And who knows, there’s still time. Previously, insider reporting was that Ubisoft was shooting for at least Odyssey numbers, and it seems likely to hit that.

Of course, everyone will have an eye on concurrent Steam numbers. Shadows has 55,000 concurrent…
