“This might get hate, but Modern Family went from good to bad. Once the kids grew up, it changed the dynamic too much, the storylines got aimless and stale, and they ‘flanderized’ everyone. Don’t even get me started on Haley’s character development regression. I’m not saying all the episodes in the last few seasons were bad, but the majority were mediocre at best compared to early seasons when every episode was gold. Ratings were dropping from Season 7, and they probably should have ended it around then instead of milking every drop from the cash cow.”
