FORMER presidential spokesman Harry Roque has downplayed an online petition that seeks to block his application for asylum in the Netherlands.
“Ang issue lang po sa asylum application ay meron bang political persecution? Wala pong botohan! (The only issue in an asylum application is whether there is political persecution. There is no voting),” Roque wrote in a Facebook post, emphasizing that the issue at hand is whether he is experiencing political persecution in the Philippines.
