Gene Hackman’s and his wife Betsy Arakawa’s bodies were discovered over a month ago in their New Mexico home; and yet, according to TMZ, their remains have yet to be claimed as of March 27th.
The 95-year-old Academy Award-winning actor and his 65-year-old wife were both found dead on February 26th. A medical examiner later determined that Hackman died from “hypertensive and atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease, with Alzheimer’s disease as a significant contributory factor, while Arakawa passed from hantavirus pulmonary syndrome, a rare disease carried by rodents.
