Snyman staying at Leinster after confirming new deal

RG Snyman is staying at Leinster for another season, after agreeing a one-year extension at the province.

The double World Cup winner has been a hugely popular signing since joining from Munster last in the summer, making 14 appearances across the BKT URC and Investec Champions Cup, scoring four tries.

The South African was only expected to stay at Leinster for one season, but the IRFU have given the province the clearance to keep him for another year, satisfied that Snyman isn’t blocking the gametime for any of Leinster’s young second row prospects.
